KATUMUISTI (Street Memory) was a project that brought 50 true stories told by the voices of Helsinki inhabitants, to their places of origin. Each story was presented by a photographic memorial plaque on the street, with a phone number to call, to hear the story. All the stories as well as printable maps for story walks were also available online.
The project was a part of the Helsinki Cultural Capital Year 2000 programme and won the Mindtrek 2000 Grand Prix.
